Simplify Stem and Immune Cell Sample Procurement

Gain access to a growing network of providers for fresh and cryopreserved hematologic samples from a large collective population of both healthy and diagnosed donors.

The iSpecimen Marketplace® offers hematologic tissue containing hematopoietic stem and immune cells prospectively collected from U.S. donors according to US CFR and IRB requirements. Offering more choices for donor attributes such as blood type, HLA type, body mass index (BMI), gender, age, race, ethnicity, and smoking (tobacco, vape or THC). Donors are assessed for medication, lifestyle, and medical history, tested for HBV, HCV, HIV and serological tests as a minimum, with an option to test for an expanded panel of infectious diseases.

Customize it. Select from a list of donor attributes such as blood type, HLA type, body mass index (BMI), gender, age, race, ethnicity, smoking (tobacco or vape or THC use) and infectious disease testing, or simply choose a standard Leukopaks.

  • Full Leukopaks collection is typically >10 billion WBCs and volume of 300-500 ml
  • Lead times are typically two weeks for non-mobilized leukapheresis collections
  • Fresh and cryopreserved options from healthy donors

Healthy Whole Bone Marrow Aspirate

Gain one-stop access to the right cell phenotype for your application. We help by providing access to our network of donor collection centers in different geographic locations with a collectively large and diverse donor population; you select specific attributes.

  • Typically >15 million cells/ml, up to 100 ml per Donor
  • Option for 100 ml of fresh autologous whole blood, concurrently
  • Lead times are typically three weeks for bone marrow collections

Bone Marrow Mononuclear Cells (BMMCs)

Efficiently source samples of mixed populations of single nucleus cells including monocytes, lymphocytes, and hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells. By tapping into our vast network of suppliers, you can get samples that match your desired patient attributes exactly.

  • Wide pool of diagnosed donors spanning the globe
  • Varied disease states including oncology, hematology, autoimmune, and others)
  • Banked and prospectively collected samples

Mobilized Leukopaks

You have the option of fresh healthy mobilized leukopaks or cryopreserved diagnosed mobilized leukopaks. Highly desirable due to high cell counts and celluarity, Day 1 mobilized leukopak collections can typically yield >50 billion cells and Day 2 >30 billion cells in a full leukopak.

  • Lead times are typically six weeks
  • Healthy donors can be mobilized daily for one to five days
  • Full leukopaks, >300 ml

Human Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells (PBMCs)

Simplify the way you obtain human PBMCs by leveraging our extensive global network of providers.
Whether you need starting material for cell therapy applications, large quantities of samples from geographically diverse patients, or matched samples to advance your work, we can help.

  • Diverse population of diagnosed donors spanning the globe
  • Varied disease states including oncology, hematology, autoimmune, and others
  • Banked and prospectively collected samples
  • Find BMMCs too

Finding the Right Specimen Match for Your Research

The iSpecimen Marketplace® changes the paradigm, offering single-source access to millions of human tissue samples and patients across a diverse network of providers—quickly and compliantly

Fresh Normal Mononuclear Cell (MNC) collection (via leukapheresis) from healthy adult non-smokers were delivered overnight to the east coast.

Mobilized Leukopak Collection with Over 97% Cell Viability

Successful collection of Fresh Mobilized Mononuclear Cells (MNC) where Day 1 full Leukopak collection is typically >50 billion WBCs, >98% cell viability, and volume of 300-500 ml depending upon Donor weight and other factors. Day 2 full Leukopak collections is typically >30 billion WBCs, >97% cell viability.

BMMCs from Patients with AML

Frozen BMMCs from 40 patients with active cases of AML were delivered — with 1M-10M cells per vial.

iSpecimen’s Cells: An Important Source of Primary Cell Types

Our cell products contain primary cells utilized in autoimmune and infectious disease research, drug discovery and preclinical development, research and development of stem cell and immunotherapies, diagnostic assays involving cell-based calibrators and controls, and numerous other life science research applications.

Hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs or CD34+):

Oligopotent stem cells that give rise to each mature blood cell type

Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs):

In unprocessed whole bone marrow aspirate (bone marrow stromal stem cells), multipotent stem cells capable of differentiating into osteoblasts, myocytes, adipocytes, chondrocytes; MSCs also possess immunomodulatory function

Immune cells:

Pan T (CD3+), Helper T (CD4+), Cytotoxic T (CD8+), NK (CD 56+), B cells (CD 19+), Monocytes (CD14+), antigen presenting cells (dendritic), neutrophils, macrophages, and related cell types

“This process previously required a lot of paperwork and time. iSpecimen makes it so much easier and quicker.”
